The primary focus of the Gulf of Guinea Joint Response Plan for Ghana is therefore i) to support the establishment and running of the reception centres and settlements; and ii) to simultaneously enhance the absorption capacity of services and food assistance for the most food insecure and vulnerable in the host communities to enable integration and peaceful co-existence. Support will be in the sectors of protection, education, health and nutrition, WASH, food security and social services. The Gulf of Guinea Joint Response Plan for Ghana is aligned with Ghana’s National Development Plan, United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF), 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the Global Compact on Refugees.
