Through Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM), UNHCR’s Operation in Ecuador obtained key information on the implementation of the cash transfer programme to cover the needs of refugees and other displaced people in the country. The information presented here helps measure the impact of cash assistance and the scope of its results, in addition to allowing the identification of opportunities for improvement and good practices in the delivery and use of cash by people forced to flee and their preferred delivery mechanisms.
