The association of Roma lawyers from Romania, RomaJust, is the first organization of Roma lawyers in the country and in Europe, founded by young Roma lawyers. RomaJust was established on July 4, 2015 and is made up of Roma graduates and students of law faculties in the country. RomaJust was founded as a result of the fact that in the last decade a considerable number of young Roma have graduated from law school, especially in the countries where the scholarship program of the Roma Education Fund operates. However, no visible progress was registered in the number of Roma lawyers, notaries, judges, etc. Moreover, Romania is a country with a significant population of Roma. Many cases of discrimination and violation of the rights of Roma people are registered, many of them require legal assistance. Similarly, Roma organizations that use legal instruments in their work do not have enough lawyers or even none in their team to work on the cases taken over by them. This fact represents a gap in the profession in the legal field as well as in the ranks of Roma professionals.

For over 30 years Romanian Angel Appeal has ensured that every child, young person and adult gets the chance to live independently, despite the social or medical problems they face. RAA's projects are thought of in the long term, some becoming national policies and models adopted by the state. RAA tirelessly looks at problems, solutions and ways in which they can be implemented sustainably.

The Romanian National Council for Refugees is a non-governmental organization founded in 1998, having been granted public utility status in 2003. CNRR’s mission is to promote and defend through all legal means human rights in general, and migrants, refugees and asylum seekers’ rights in particular.

Romaversitas is the first comprehensive support and training program for talented Roma youngsters in Hungary. Established in 1996, in the past twenty years Romaversitas has supported over 300 Roma students throughout their academic studies, to successfully graduate and become highly skilled professionals in their chosen field.
