The mandate of the Education Working Group is informed by the Ethiopia Refugee Education Response Strategy (2015–2018), which is aligned with the National Education Sector Development Strategy and seeks to enhance the organizational capacities and efficiency of school administration and management. Priority areas include improving the quality of education through enhanced teacher certification, expanding access through the construction of additional classrooms, together with the provision of school supplies, curricular and instructional materials. Coordination is used to improve efficiency and avoid duplication of efforts.
